Manchester based estate and letting agency, Ascend Properties, has bagged the award for Best Overall Agent in the UK. The firm is in its third year of trading.

The city centre agent was recognised at the Landlord and Letting Awards 2016 in a prestigious ceremony, recognising those in the property industry who have stood out against others in their sector over the past year.

The win follows on from a victorious year for Ascend Properties, a young business who has also secured five regional awards this year from the renowned property site allagents, the largest customer review website for the property industry.

Ged McPartlin, sales director at Ascend Properties said: “We are absolutely thrilled to win the award for Best Overall Agent in the UK. The competition was tough, so this accolade really is testament to the hard work and commitment of everyone at Ascend.

“This is the icing on the cake for us this year, as it joins the five regional awards we’ve recently won, including Best Overall Agent in Manchester and Best Letting Agent in Manchester.”

He continued: “Our success isn’t driven by being complacent; it’s driven by a drive and determination to deliver a service that we would want to receive ourselves. We’re in a competitive market and savvy clients now expect more from their estate, letting and management agent; we like to think we’ve found that balance and are delivering a service nothing short of first class.

“It’s been a cracking year for our sector and we’re looking forward to seeing what 2017 has in store for us.”
