UBS managing director and co-head of equity capital markets Dane FitzGibbon is leaving the bank after 13 years, according to an internal memo.

FitzGibbon is understood to be moving to Brisbane with his family.

UBS director Richard Sleijpen, who is also head of UBS’ ECM syndicate business, will become co-head of ECM with Melbourne-based Andrew Stevens.

Interestingly, March 1 is the date in which UBS options issued to staff post the global financial crisis can be vested.

FitzGibbon started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2000, joining UBS four years later. He was promoted to managing director at the Swiss bank in 2011.
