France’s AMF calls for vigilance regarding binary options software Preditrend

by Jonathan Adams

AMF, France’s financial markets regulator today issued a warning regarding Preditrend, a software for trading binary options that is available over the Internet via several websites, social networks and via an email campaign.

Potential users of the software are promised guaranteed returns, with the percentage of profitable trades said to be “3 out of 4”.

The programme is marketed through the websites – predi-trend.com, preditrend.com and starupf5.com which are associated with Cyprus investment firm WGM Services Ltd, operating as Eztrader. The AMF notes that Cyprus’ securities regulator CySEC recently fined Eztrader.

Due to risky nature of the offer and the type of marketing and communication associated with it, AMF urges the public to be vigilant regarding Preditrend and also regarding all offers of algorithmic trading products.
