The company outlined its plan for its new “Moving America Forward” campaign, which will begin through a series of four different ads
US crypto exchange Coinbase is rolling out one more national advertising campaign in the US aiming at the “critical” role that crypto will play in modernizing the international financial system.
In a May 22 blog post, the company outlined its plan for its new “Moving America Forward” campaign, which will begin through a series of four different ads featuring Coinbase Chief Executive Officer Brian Armstrong, which will mainly telecast during “popular Sunday shows” on U.S. TV, with a few also appearing at the time of advertisement breaks of the NBA Finals series.
Coinbase is launching Crypto: Moving America Forward, a US-wide campaign to detail crypto’s crucial role as a fundamental technology that will update the international financial system, the company stated.
The campaign will also concentrate on global adoption of crypto and blockchain in countries such as China, as the company plans to underline that the U.S. global economic leadership and national security are at risk if the U.S. concedes its role in building technology that will be key to global financial infrastructure.
The advertisements will debut over the course of four separate weeks.
The event will take place on July 19 in Washington and will include the crypto community members recommending crypto-favourable policies with their respective members of Congress.
The Real People Using Crypto for Real Needs and The State of Crypto Summit advertisements will cover the way people are using crypto to pursue economic freedom and promote one more Coinbase event to be held in NYC on June 22.
The latest campaign comes after a similar advertisement this year from Coinbase aimed at the theme of modernizing financial technology through cryptocurrency.
In March the company released an advertisement through YouTube titled “It is Time to Update the Financial System,” while it also telecast an advertisement at the time of the NFL Super Bowl in February with a scannable QR code that brought users to a promotional bitcoin giveaway page.
