Million dollars raised from around the world for injured F4 racer

Motor racing stars and supporters from around the world have helped raise more than a million dollars for British Formula 4 driver Billy Monger who lost both his legs following a horrific crash at Donington Park.

A crowdfunding page was set up to help fund the 17-year-old’s recovery from life changing injuries, with an initial target set of £260,000.

The motorsport community has come out in force to support the teenager resulting in £620,000 being raised in just over 24 hours.
