The widely accessed game platform Roblox has rejected rumours that it intends to adopt XRP. Roblox’s announcement comes after a number of news sources claimed yesterday that the gaming platform has “integrated” Ripple’s XRP as a payment via BitPay.

Even after the tweet was taken down, however, rumours continued to spread, leading several to believe that Roblox was “integrating” XRP into its payment options.

The row began after payment processor BitPay tweeted that XRP could be used for purchases in supported games such as Roblox and Xsolla. Even as BitPay promised to make further announcements on payment interfaces for gaming platforms, it finally removed the tweet, terming it a mistake.

In a number of locations around the world, Ripple published a new job opening on October 16th for a senior manager of shareholder communications. The job posting was seen by several crypto investors as an indication that the firm was getting ready to go public.

At one time, XRP was trading at $0.49, down 0.30 per cent during the past 24 hours according to data from CoinMarketCap. Additionally, the trading volume is 29.42 per cent lower. The price has been consolidating lately after it experienced strong selling pressure post facing strong resistance at the $0.50 level.

If the price manages to go past $0.50 mark, then a fresh rally all the way till $0.52 is on the cards. Conversely, if the bears continue domination and drive the prices below the $0.48 level then it will possibly move towards the $0.42 support level. Further drop will possibly result in price testing the $0.34 level.
