FTSE seen lower as crude, gold suppressed

London equities are seen cautiously continuing their downward bent as crude and gold remain suppressed, following on from a mixed Wall St and lower Asia overnight.

The market is looking to UK’s CBI Industrial Order Expectations, along with a raft of Euro zone purchasing managers’ indices.

On Wall St overnight on Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.12% to 18,529.42, the S&P 500 lost 0.06% to 2182.64 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.12% to 5244.6.

In Asia this morning, the Nikkei 225 had fallen 0.07% to 16,587.02, while the Hang Seng shed 0.31% to 22,925.97.
