Investing in Funds to Beat Inflation

Introduction

Inflation rate prediction models indicate an average of 2.2% inflation for the UK, up to 2020 and this rate could rise if the British pound continues to weaken on Brexit factors. Interest rates on cash savings currently sit around the 1.5% level.

It doesn’t take a math genius to work out why the British public are becoming increasingly loath to park their savings in tradition cash savings accounts. Holding cash in the bank at the best available interest rates currently on offer means its value is being eroded, not increasing.
