Southwest Airlines is making some major investments into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The Dallas-based airline announced today it will occupy a new concourse at the airport’s Terminal 4 and will invest more than $40 million (£32.92 million) to expand its maintenance facility.

“We’ve never wavered in our commitment to serving Phoenix’s travellers,” said Tom Nealon, Southwest Airlines President. Our customers tell us they love the hospitality they receive at Sky Harbor, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them into our new space when the new concourse opens in just a few short years.”
