Lake Station could donate property to Hobart Township

by Jonathan Adams

A small piece of city-owned property could be put in the hands of the Hobart Township Trustee’s office.

The City Council is considering adopting an ordinance that would donate the land near 35th Avenue and Colorado Street to Hobart Township.

The panel tabled voting on the measure Thursday because the ordinance wasn’t completed by the time the session started, Mayor Christopher Anderson said. The matter is expected to be reviewed during the June 8 council meeting.
