The partnership, which will take the Solana-native platform multi-chain, is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of this year
India’s Web 3 social video app Chingari has collaborated with the Aptos blockchain to give infrastructural assistance for its Web3 products, as per a blog post from Chingari on Wednesday.
The partnership, which will take the Solana-native platform multi-chain, is set to launch in Q2 2002. The version of the Chingari app that will launch in Aptos will have a more scalable experience with the latest products, as per the post. Legacy assistance for Solana-based Chingari users will continue, however.
According to The Block, Aptos is investing in Chingari as part of the deal.
According to Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Chingari, Sumit Ghosh, the partnership is a stepping stone for the app’s plans to expand to new markets in the near future.
A stronger cause for us to partner with Aptos Labs is their vast experience in social media ecosystem, Ghosh told CoinDesk. The effect of Chingari building on Aptos blockchain will clear the way for a strong foundation and case study in the Indian ecosystem before expanding into newer markets in the near future.
Chingari’s partnership with the Aptos blockchain aims to ease transactions as well, raise transaction speeds and boost the security of the platform.
Aptos offers a number of key advantages, like higher scalability, security and speed, making it perfect for Chingari’s requirements, Chingari said in a statement.
The cost of Chingari’s native token, GARI, surged nearly 48 per cent, to 8 cents, during the minutes following the news of the partnership. The token traded at $0.0783, as per TradingView data.
