Wealthify, the Cardiff-based Robo-investor firm, is preparing to raise capital through the crowd.

Continuing their mission to democratise investing in the UK, the online investment service, which went live in April, launches its public crowdfunding campaign on 12th September. Priority access will be given to anyone who pre-registers before 9th September via Wealthify’s website.

Wealthify is aiming to raise £1 million through Seedrs, the UK’s most popular crowdfunding platform, in addition to £1.55m raised from investors, grants and other sources. The firm has ring-fenced 9.3% of equity to offer shareholders.

It will use the capital to support the next stage of the customer acquisition and growth strategy, creating national brand awareness, introducing new sales channels and extending products and services to include pensions and other types of ISAs.
